There's a playground, shaded pavilion, environmental educational area, bathrooms and a snack bar. Take long strolls (the state beach covers 27 acres) and play in the waves. Our Sand Hill Cove beach rental house is a few hundred feet from Roger Wheeler – just wander down the sandy path right out your front door. It couldn't be easier!

East Mutunuck Beach
East Matunuck State Beach is 144 acres of gorgeousness! White sands and medium-to-strong surf account for its popularity. It's perfect for long walks, beach combing and swimming (keep an eye on the kids). Catch views of ferries heading to Block Island and fishing boats heading in and out of the Port of Galilee. A wind turbine powers the beach pavilion. If you stay at our East Matunuck beach rental, you'll find the beach at the end of our street. It's so easy to stroll back and forth for beverage refills, naps for the kids or to grab lunch!
